With 26 years of experience caring for children as a pediatric Registered Nurse and leader, Carolyn Ahl has dedicated her career to youth well-being. Today, she brings that same passion, along with her expertise as a healthcare quality improvement consultant to The Backstage Foundation. Carolyn’s professional specialty lies in translating complex processes into clear, measurable data to drive better outcomes. On the board, she leverages these unique analytical skills to lead data analysis initiatives for grant development, ensuring the foundation can powerfully capture and share the real-world impact of its programming.
 

Carolyn’s commitment to the foundation is also deeply personal. Having spent many years taking dance classes in her youth, she knows firsthand the incredible joy of movement and the vital role self-expression plays in a young person’s development. Stepping onto the board, Carolyn is passionate about ensuring that all children, regardless of background or ability, have a safe community to discover their own confidence through dance. By blending her analytical mind with a lifelong love for the art form, she helps the foundation measure its success, expand its reach, and bring the core values of Experience, Community, and Opportunity to life.
